Logistic Contractor in billion SEK deal with Genesta

Logistic Contractor, part of Wästbygg Gruppen AB (publ), is selling its wholly owned project company Sneden AB to the fund manager Genesta Property Nordic AB. The purchase price is SEK 945 million. Sneden AB includes the 133,000 sqm of land outside Enköping that Logistic Contractor acquired in spring 2021. Sneden AB has also signed a contract with Logistic Contractor for the construction of a logistics facility with a floor area of approximately 80,000 sqm on the site. The value of the construction contract is approximately SEK 605 million and is included in the purchase price.

Jonas Jönehall to become CEO of the Wästbygg Group

Today, on 21 March, the Board decided to appoint Jonas Jönehall, currently CFO and Deputy CEO, as the Wästbygg Group’s new CEO. Jonas will assume his new position on 6 May. Logistic Contractor enters into joint venture for logistics plot in Nyköping

Logistic Contractor, part of the Wästbygg Group, has signed a collaboration agreement with state-owned Orio AB to develop approximately 400,000 sqm of land in Nyköping – Nyköping Logistics Park – in a joint venture. The development work will be carried out through a joint project company. The land is currently owned by Orio and is directly adjacent to its current warehouse and distribution centre. Under the agreement, Logistic Contractor commits to pay Orio a total of about SEK 200 million over a five-year period, depending on the area developed.

Joakim Efraimsson has now been appointed Managing Director of Wästbygg AB, our recently merged business.
